Tensile early access: the short version
Pilot version 0.1. Last updated: October 2026
Tensile is run from Ontario, Canada. Questions: support@tensile.build. Our legal name is available on request at support@tensile.build.
1. What this is. Tensile is in early access. It is free for now and open to invited users only. Things will change, and things may break. We may pause or end the pilot, and we will give notice where we can.
2. Your content is yours. Your drawings, bids, quotes, estimates and photos stay yours. We use them only to run Tensile for you.
3. Only upload what you're allowed to. Bid documents often belong to a general contractor, owner or design team and may have rules about sharing. When you upload something, you confirm you are allowed to, including having it processed by our AI provider (see the privacy notice).
4. AI is an assistant. It can miss things or be wrong. Check every AI result against the drawings and specifications. You are responsible for your bids, prices and decisions.
5. Your team. The company owner is responsible for the people they invite and what they do.
6. Emails sent for you. When you send an RFQ or invitation through Tensile, we send it at your direction. Make sure you are allowed to contact the people you send to.
7. Be reasonable. No unlawful use, no trying to see other companies' data, no spam, no attacking the service.
8. Leaving. You can stop any time and ask us to delete your data: support@tensile.build. We can end access too, for misuse or security reasons.
9. No guarantees. Tensile is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost bids, pricing errors, lost profits or lost data.
10. Law. Ontario law applies.
11. What comes next. A full agreement will replace this before any paid plan. You will be asked to accept it then.
